Tactical Floor Game The 4th MNEK 2023, TNI AL, and 35 Participating Nations Ready to Commence Sea Phase
Jalesveva Jayamahe, Makassar, June 8, 2023 — Entering the Sea Phase (Field Maneuver) stage, the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) along with participating nations in the Multilateral Naval Exercise Komodo (MNEK) 2023, are conducting the Tactical Floor Game (TFG) at Hotel Claro, Makassar, South Sulawesi, on Wednesday, June 7.
The Tactical Floor Game (TFG) is an integral part of the exercise, aimed at refining the training scenarios and operational plans that have been jointly developed by the naval staff and participants from 35 countries prior to the Sea Phase.
The TFG serves as an effort to comprehensively prepare various tactics and strategies to face the Sea Phase of MNEK 2023, which will take place on Thursday, June 8, in the waters of the Sulawesi Sea.
Through the training materials provided in the TFG, it is expected that each participant will understand their respective roles during the exercise. Additionally, this activity also fosters camaraderie among nations through interactions during the training and the sharing of experiences in dealing with real-life situations closely resembling the scenarios presented.
The TFG event aligns with the priority program of the Chief of Naval Staff (Kasal), Admiral TNI Muhammad Ali, which is to realize a professional, modern, and robust naval force to achieve high readiness and preparedness. This includes the alignment of doctrines, naval operations, as well as flexible and adaptive training systems in response to the current dynamic situation.

Memasuki tahap Sea Phase (Tahap Laut/Manuver Lapangan), TNI Angkatan Laut beserta peserta dari negara-negara sahabat yang terlibat Latihan Bersama dalam Multilateral Naval Exercise Komodo (MNEK) ke-4 tahun 2023 ini melaksanakan Tactical Floor Game, (TFG), bertempat di Hotel Claro, Kota Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan, Rabu (7/6).
Tactical Floor Game (TFG) merupakan bagian dari proses untuk mematangkan skenario latihan dan rencana operasi yang telah disusun bersama staf dan pelaku latihan antara TNI AL dengan 35 negara peserta MNEK 2023 jelang memasuki tahap Sea Phase.
Pelaksanaan TFG ini sebagai upaya mempersiapkan secara terinci sejumlah taktik dan strategi untuk menghadapi Sea Phase MNEK 2023 yang akan berlangsung pada Kamis (8/6), di perairan Laut Sulawesi.
Dari materi-materi yang telah dilatihkan melalui TFG ini diharapkan nantinya masing-masing peserta akan mengerti apa yang harus dilakukan pada saat pelaksanaan latihan. Selain itu kegiatan ini juga dapat mempererat persahabatan antar negara melalui interaksi selama latihan berlangsung serta berbagi pengalaman dalam menghadapi permasalahan yang mendekati dengan permasalahan yang telah di-skenariokan.
